DUSHANBE, 23.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The champion of Tajikistan — Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol” in the AFC Cup-2017 first interzonal semi-final match won a major victory over the Philippine “Ceres Negros” with the score 4:0.

According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the two goals were scored by Manuchehr Jalilov and two others by Ahtam Nazarov (penalty) and Romish Jalilov.

We will recall that the return match will be held on September 12 in the Philippine city of Bacolod. In case of advancing of “Istiqlol” to the next round of the AFC Cup, the champion of Tajikistan will play in the interzonal final with the winner of the pair “Bengaluru” (India) – “25 April” (DPRK). Interzonal finals will be played on September 27 and October 18.

The final match of the AFC Cup-2017 will be played on November 4. In case if “Istiqlol” advances to the final, then the decisive match of the second most important club tournament of Asia will take place in Tajikistan.
