The Day of President and 25th anniversary of Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan marked in Washington and Vienna
DUSHANBE, 20.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in USA held an event dedicated to the Day of President and 25th anniversary of Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan on November 16th.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the event the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in USA Farhod Salim provided information on key role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation His Excellency Emomali Rahmon in reconstruction and development of sovereign Tajik state and the value of the fateful 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was presented the exhibition of the books of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of Nation His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
Also, on the same day, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to Austria has organized a special event dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 25th anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan with participation of the diplomatic stuff, compatriots, including Tajik students studying in the universities of Austria.
At the opening, Idibek Kalandar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Austria, noting the vivid imprint of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of Tajikistan in the modern history of the Tajik statehood, has highlighted the vital role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon in safeguarding territorial integrity of Tajikistan, ensuring peace and stability, as well as the social and economic development of the country.
The participants, pointing out the leading role of the Head of the Tajik State in implementation of the foreign policy of the country, have exchanged views on the necessity of further preservation and strengthening of national values, expanding the international authority of Tajikistan, as well as contribution of the new generation in this process.
