NATIONAL INFORMATION AGENCY OF TAJIKISTAN "KHOVAR"

DEAR READERS!

On the eve of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The state news agencies of the CIS member states completed a common project — the creation of a photo exhibition dedicated to the heroic generation of winners in the battle against fascism.

The exposition that we are providing today includes more than 90 chronicles trained by the state news agencies AZERTAC (Azerbaijan), Armenpress (Armenia), BelTA (Belarus), Kazinform (Kazakhstan), Kabar (Kyrgyzstan), Moldpress (Moldova), TASS (Russia), Khovar (Tajikistan), UzA (Uzbekistan) and the state news agency of Turkmenistan. They contain a chronicle of the ordeals that befell the Soviet people, the bitterness of loss and the joy of Victory. This is evidence of the military and labor feat, as well as our memory and gratitude to the courage of the people who defended their homeland on the fronts and in the rear.

Every year, time moves us away from that war era, but great trials and Great Victory should not go away from memory and hearts. In our countries, monuments rise and modest monuments to the heroes of the war, which should be preserved for us and future generations. These are amulets against forgetting the past, from repeating tragedies that claim millions of lives, from attempts to rewrite history and whitewash accomplices of the forces of evil.

And, of course, we must pay tribute to the veterans of the war and the rear, which among us are becoming less and less over the years. State-run news agencies have a powerful tool to support veterans, to provide them with care and reverence in society. The life of every victorious hero must now be as valuable as on the battlefields!
