Kremlin: telephone conversation between Putin and Obama was frank and businesslike
Dushanbe, 14.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama have held a telephone conversation.
According to the Kremlin press service, the conversation was initiated by the American party, and it was «frank and businesslike.»
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart, Barack Obama, have stressed the necessity of easing tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia in view of the ongoing diplomatic crisis between the two countries
The heads of state discussed issues of the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, as well as problems of the Middle East in detail, with emphasis on searching for ways to resolve the Syrian crisis and the situation on the Korean peninsula,» the official statement informs.
