U.S. Embassy conducts security training exercise with Tajik law enforcement forces
Dushanbe, 25. 01. 2016 (NIAT «Khovar»).-On Saturday, 23 January, the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe and the Ministry of Interior conducted a security exercise.
According to the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, this exercise was the culmination of a three week training event sponsored by the Embassys Regional Security Office to increase the reactionary capabilities of the Ministrys Special Forces personnel in emergency situations.
Their training included instruction on the proper use of force, restraint techniques, tactical movements, unit communications, and emergency first aid.
The U.S. Embassy will partner with the Tajik Law Enforcement Forces to provide several training events in 2016.
