Former French PM appointed as new Foreign Minister of France
Dushanbe, 12.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Former French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has been appointed as new foreign minister on Thursday by French President Francois Hollande, French presidential office the Elysee announced on Thursday afternoon.
According to a source, in the government reshuffle, Hollande named the former Prime Minister Ayrault as a replacement for Laurent Fabius who was nominated to be the president of the Constitutional Council.
Ecology Minister Segolene Royal replaces Fabius to be in charge of international relations on climate.
Audrey Azoulay was named to replace Fleur Pellerin as Minister of Education and Communication.
