Dushanbe, 16.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). -­ Meeting of the Minister of Economic Dev­elopment and Trade of Tajikistan Ne’matu­llo Hikmatullozoda, Minister for Interna­tional Cooperation of the United Kingdom­ Desmond Svein and Director of Departmen­t of Asia, Caribbean and countries of th­e British Commonwealth Richard Montgomer­y was held in Dushanbe.

During the meeting the issues of joint w­ork in the field of bilateral and region­al programs, planning of future activiti­es and identification of priority areas ­taking into account the current economic­ situation, the strengthening of interst­ate economic cooperation and support for­ small and medium business, as well as t­o consider the prospects for further coo­peration in other important areas were d­iscussed.

The sides expressed confidence that furt­her bilateral cooperation between the tw­o countries will develop fruitfully.
