Nawruz celebration in Tehran
Dushanbe, 16.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — At the beginning of Merry Nawruz in the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran, on the occasion of the International Day of Nawruz a cultural event was held with the participation of Tajik compatriots and students with a special glory.
According to Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Emomzoda talked about the history of Nawruz and its distribution in Tajikistan, and at the same time, he mentioned the measures taken by the Government of Tajikistan and its hosting in several international Nawruz celebration with participating the heads of states and senior officials of Nawruz basin states and hosting the International Forum of writers of Nawruz community with the title of «Nawruz in literature and art of the world».
At the closing of the mentioned event, the unveiling of the traditions of Tajikistan and also displaying a video film about the Nawruz celebration in Tajikistan was shown. A corner of the Hall of Embassy was decorated in Tajik style, there were displayed with hats, cloths, music instruments, samples of the national handicrafts and advertisements about the economic and social development of Tajikistan, history and culture, tourism possibilities and others.
