Process of preparations for the referendum discussed in Kurgan-Tyube
Dushanbe, 19.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A meeting on the issues of preparation and holding of a national referendum on “Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held today in Kurgan-Tyube City.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Khatlon region Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda and Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Republic of Tajikistan Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda Tavar.
The chairmen and vice-chairmen of cities and districts of the region, as well as the chairmen of constituencies and polling stations for the holding of referendum were also invited to the meeting.
During the meeting the various issues of preparation and holding of a national referendum, as well as the documents that will be used during the referendum and the willingness of polling stations for the holding of referendum have been considered.
