President of Tajikistan: “CASA-1000 Project compliments the objectives of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change from the perspective of ensuring access to alternative energy sources”
Dushanbe, 12.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. “CASA-1000 Project compliments the objectives of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change from the perspective of decreasing negative impact of industrial wastes on environment and ensuring access to alternative energy sources”, — the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon has said at the official ceremony of the launch of CASA-1000 Regional Project.
The Head of state has also noted that this Project’s implementation will give a new impetus on development of trade and production of industrial commodities as well as ensure the Region’s energy security.
