Tajikistan’s Parliament ratified Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of fight against crime with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Dushanbe, 30.05.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. The lower house of the Parliament of Tajikistan ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on cooperation in the sphere of fight against crime.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Umarzoda Ikrom Islom, commenting on this document, noted that the document will provide basis for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fight against organized crime, extremism and terrorism.
The agreement is a favorable basis for cooperation between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in such areas as the detention of criminals, detection of illicit traffic in narcotic drugs, the exchange of information on the activities of criminal individuals and groups.
We will recall that the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on cooperation in the fight against crime was signed on January 3, 2016, in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
