Sharif Said: “Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have a strong relations”
Dushanbe, 08.06.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The state and perspective directions of bilateral trade-economic cooperation were discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry /CCI/ of Tajikistan Sharif Said with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Chary Ataev, which was held on the eve here in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, it was stressed that the basis of the progressive development of interstate relations is a dialogue at the top level and regional relations of economic entities of the two countries.
The parties have paid special attention to the aspects of the comprehensive support of entrepreneurship in the promotion of goods and services, development of strengthening industrial cooperation, contacts between enterprises of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and the establishment of a joint Business Council “Tajikistan – Turkmenistan”, which will become an effective mechanism to increase the level of trade and economic ties.
The Turkmen diplomat has expressed hope that the exhibition and congress events on bilateral cooperation will create favorable conditions to enhance and identify new spheres of mutually beneficial cooperation.
