Tajikistan’s Finance Ministry and the World Bank discuss the implementation of the development projects of traffic routes
Dushanbe, 01.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Meeting of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdusalom Qurboniyon with the World Bank Country Manager for Tajikistan took place here in Dushanbe on Tuesday.
According to the Finance Ministry, in the course of the meeting the sides noted the importance of the key role of the Republic of Tajikistan in the development of road routes in Central Asia, emphasizing that in the future implementation of these projects and programs will lead to a comprehensive strengthening of cooperation in the region.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of projects in the transport sector in the Sughd and Khatlon regions, as well as the support for passenger and cargo traffic at Dushanbe airport.
It was noted that all measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan are aimed at the improvement of welfare of the people.
