Hillary Clinton formally accepts Democrats nomination for US president
Dushanbe, 29.07.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Hillary Clinton has formally accepted the nomination for the US presidency as the candidate from the Democratic Party. Speaking on Thursday evening at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, she thanked the party members for their confidence and accepted their nomination as a candidate for the November 8 election, TASS reported.
«It is with humility, determination and boundless confidence in America’s promise that I accept your nomination for President of the United States,» Clinton said to thunderous applause of the convention guests and delegates at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Clinton has become the first woman ever to accept a major US party’s presidential nomination.
