DUSHANBE, 12.01.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Draw for the FFT Cup preliminary stage in Dushanbe zone will be held today, January 12 at the office of the Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT). The event starts at 10:00 o’clock.

Traditionally, the Federation Cup will be held in 2 stages – preliminary and final. At the preliminary stage the competitions will be held in three zones – Dushanbe, Sughd and Khatlon.

The preliminary stage in Dushanbe zone kicks off on January 26, Sugd — January 20 and Khatlon — January 27.

According to the preliminary round results, the top 8 teams from three zones will reach the final stage of the tournament to be held on February 10-19 in Dushanbe.

The teams that earned the right but have refused for any reason from participation in the final stage of the FFT Cup will be required to pay a monetary fine in the amount of 10 thousand somoni.

We will recall that the current holder of FFT Cup is Tursunzoda’s club “Regar TadAz” that beat FC “Khujand” with the score 1:0 in the last year’s final.
