Tajik and Russian anti-drug agencies in joint operation detained a drug dealer
DUSHANBE, 19.01.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The staff of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and staff of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation held a joint operation on the method “controlled delivery”, the press center of anti-drug agency of the country reports.
“As a result of a successful operation in St. Petersburg was detained the Russian Federation citizen Shakir Azamov with 5 kg of heroin”, — it is stated in the message.
According to it, the preliminary investigation found that the detainee is the leader of an organized criminal drug group and engaged in the distribution of drugs on the territory of St. Petersburg.
“On this fact by the Investigative Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of St. Petersburg criminal case has been filed, investigation is underway”, — the source said, adding that additional measures to locate and arrest the remaining members of the criminal group have been undertaken.
