Turkish military: 23 IS militants killed in northern Syria
DUSHANBE, 26.01.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Turkish military said Thursday that it killed 23 Islamic State (IS, banned in Tajikistan) terrorists in Al-Bab, in northern Syria, in the previous 24 hours, Xinhua news agency reports citing the statement of the Turkish General Staff.
According to the statement, 230 terrorist targets, including hideouts, defense positions, command centers, and vehicles, were shelled.
Meanwhile, Turkish jets struck 24 IS positions in Bab, Bzagah, Tadif and Qabr al-Mukri districts, destroying 19 buildings, ammunition depot and an observation post used by terrorists.
