Belgium allocates additional 30 mln euros to fight terrorism
DUSHANBE, 20.03.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Belgium will allocate additional 30 million euros (32.2 million U.S. dollars) to fight terrorism, Prime minister Charles Michel said during a TV debate on Sunday.
According to Michel, 15 million euros will be given to the police and the security, while 15 million euros will be given to the Justice.
In the past 2 years, Belgium had already assigned 600 million euros in fighting terrorism.
«We need financial means to equip and support,» he said.
Michel also admitted support for the victims of the Brussels attacks is not efficient enough.
We will recall that on March 22 of 2016, 35 people were killed and over 300 others injured in the terror attacks on Brussels airport and the city’s Metro system.
