Deadly blast strikes St. Petersburg’s subway
DUSHANBE, 03.04.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. A bomb exploded in a subway car as it was travelling between the Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institut metro stations in St. Petersburg at about 3 pm Moscow time on April 3, TASS News Agency reports
According to preliminary reports, ten people were killed in the incident. About 50 people were hurt in the blast, spokesman for the city’s governor Andrei Kibitov said.
The Russian Investigative Committee said the explosion was a terrorist attack, adding that it is considering other versions of the tragedy.
