Mexico: More than 20 killed in fuel tanker-bus crash
DUSHANBE, 14.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. At least 24 people were killed on Thursday in a crash involving a bus and a fuel tanker in southwest Mexico, Euro news reports.
The tanker exploded after what has been described as a head-on collision near the Pacific coast. Nine people were injured. Some of the victims have serious burns.
Police said the bus was travelling to the coast when it was involved in the collision with the tanker, which had left the port of Lazaro Cardenas.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
