Tajikistan and China discussed issues of ensuring regional security
DUSHANBE, 25.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mahmadsaid Saidzoda and representatives of the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China led by Deputy Head of International Relations Department of this ministry Duan Dachi was held in Dushanbe. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the source, the participants of the meeting, as part of agreements and memorandums previously signed by the heads of the two countries, have discussed a number of issues, such as combating crime, terrorism, extremism, separatism, other challenges and threats of the modern world, as well as training of cadres, exchange of experience and information, ensuring regional security.
The parties have expressed readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China in order to ensure security of the two countries, and prevent negative phenomena.
