US Secretary of State to visit Russia on April 11-12
DUSHANBE, 06.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will visit Moscow, Russian Federation on April 11-12 to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, TASS reported citing the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement on Wednesday.
“On April 11-12, the US Secretary of State Tillerson will make a working visit to Moscow”, — the statement reads.
It is also reported that “this is his first visit to Russia as Secretary of State in the Trump administration”.
The US State Department, in turn, has confirmed Tillerson’s Moscow trip, saying that the issues of bilateral relations, Syria, Ukraine, North Korea and the fight against terrorism will be discussed in the Russian capital.
