Meeting of the Chairman of Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Rozuqulov
DUSHANBE, 22.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Dushanbe and Tashkent intend to become sister cities”, — it was stated at the meeting of the Chairman of Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali with the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister of this country Ulugbek Rozuqulov, which was held here in Dushanbe on June 21.
According to the Department of Public Information and External Affairs at Dushanbe mayor’s office, as part of establishment of sister cities ties Dushanbe and Tashkent plan to open Trading houses in each others’ cities.
During the meeting the parties have also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in other areas. In particular, one of the main topics of discussion was the issue of establishing trade and economic cooperation between Dushanbe and economic entities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The parties have expressed interest in opening joint ventures in machine building, light industry, manufacturing and household goods in the near future.
