Tillerson to join Arab quartet talks in Jeddah to tackle Gulf crisis
DUSHANBE, 11.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will join a meeting of foreign ministers of the Arab countries for discussion of Gulf crisis in Jeddah on Wednesday, Xinhua reports citing statement of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Ministers of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Egypt along with Tillerson will meet on coordinating efforts of dealing with Qatar in the future, the statement said.
The Saudi-led four countries along with other states have severed diplomatic ties with Qatar early last month and cut off sea, land and air links to the tiny rich Gulf nation.
