Rustami Emomali and Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland discussed bilateral relations
DUSHANBE, 26.08.2017 / NIAT “Khovar”/. Chairman of Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali met on August 25 with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Tajikistan Hugh Philpott.
According to the Department of Public Information and External Affairs at Dushanbe mayor’s office, the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city and the United Kingdom were discussed at the meeting.
Interlocutors paid special attention to the development of economic relations, emphasizing that trade and economic cooperation between the two parties is at the stage of development.
It was stressed that the UK Department for International Development intends to make significant contribution to the implementation of the “Socio-Economic Development Program of Dushanbe up to 2025”.
