DUSHANBE, 05.10.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The International Judo Tournament for the Cup of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the weight category 90 kg will start today, October 5 in Vahdat city.

According to the representative of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports, this sporting event is organized by the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Judo Federation of Tajikistan and it will start at 15:00 local time.

The tournament will be attended by athletes from 15 countries, such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Germany, Nepal, Japan, Belarus, Ukraine, Holland, America and Cuba. In this tournament, the Republic of Tajikistan will be represented by 20 best-known athletes, including Komronshon Ustopiriyon, Jahongir Majidov, Saidjalol Saidov, Firdavs Nasimov, Akmaliddin Murodov and Ghazalsho Davlatshoh.

We will recall that the International Judo Tournament for the Cup of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is being held for the fifth time in the country.

According to the responsible person, the winner of the first place will be awarded with 7 thousand dollars, the second place — 4 thousand dollars, and the two third places — 2 thousand US dollars.
