Tajikistan and Pakistan expressed readiness for multilateral cooperation in the spheres of culture and art
DUSHANBE, 30.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with the Chairman of the Committee on State Structure of Pakistan’s Senate Muhammad Talha Mahmood on November 27 in Dushanbe. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Muhammad Talha Mahmood spoke about the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan, the special commitment and love of the Pakistani people to Tajik art and culture, as well as the fame of the national poet of Pakistan Muhammad Iqbol in Tajikistan. He suggested to open a corner of Tajikistan in the National Library of Pakistan, which will make it possible to acquaint not only residents of Pakistan, but also representatives of other countries of the world with the Tajik culture, as well as to arrange the broadcasting of Tajik films in Urdu via Pakistani TV channels.
Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda noted multilateral cooperation of the two states, and favorable conditions for strengthening and expanding cooperation in the sphere of culture.
