DUSHANBE, 01.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The priority areas of economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the opportunities of cooperation between the Eurasian Development Bank and the National Bank of Tajikistan were the main topics of the meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Ikromi with the representatives of the Eurasian Development Bank.

According to the National Bank of Tajikistan, during the meeting the two parties had also an exchange of views on the expansion of bilateral cooperation taking into account existing opportunities for a number of issues.

Representatives of the Eurasian Development Bank, in turn, expressing their satisfaction with the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the banking system, noted that the purpose of the mission’s visit is to discuss issues related to the use of national currency in the implementation of mutual settlements, the opening of mutual correspondent accounts and other aspects of cooperation between the Eurasian Development Bank and the National Bank of Tajikistan.
