Prime Minister of Tajikistan met with Minister of State for Energy and Industry of Qatar
DUSHANBE, 20.06.2018 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda met with the Minister of State for Energy and Industry of Qatar Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of friendly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Qatar, as well as noted the importance of further enhancement of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the parties paid particular attention to the priority fields of mutual interest, including water and energy.
It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan has rich hydropower resources and to date, in this direction targeted programs and projects have been implemented.
Both parties stressed that the friendship relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Qatar has been expanding year by year and reached a new level. The Tajik side intends to enhance bilateral relations with Qatar in the future.
The expansion of bilateral relations in all important areas was particularly emphasized at the meeting.
