Tajikistan ranked 4th position in the ranking of the world’s safe countries

Thanks to creative, peace-loving and unity-keeping efforts of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the attention of global community to tourist potential of Tajikistan is being increased and the image of Tajikistan as a peaceful state and possessing rich tourism potential has been strengthened and acquired the best and most potential opportunity for tourism development and according to the Global Peace Index (GPI) Tajikistan has been placed among the most peaceful places.
The Institute for Economics and Peace has published a new index of security indicators in which the Republic of Tajikistan has gone up for 4 points.
We will recall that the ranking of world states by vision of Institute for Economics and Peace will be developed annually and published, and countries are placed on the level of security.
Tajikistan is ranked 114th out of 163 countries, improving 4 ranks compared with 2017 indicators. In this category, Tajikistan leaves behind Turkmenistan, Armenia, and the United States, Russia, Turkey and Israel.
It should be noted that the Institute for Economics and Peace takes into account the impact of travel safety on all aspects of research and assessment.
