Turkey announces the results of Presidential Election
DUSHANBE, 25.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. According to the initial results of the presidential election in Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan was declared the the winner of the presidential election with 52.5 per cent of the votes.
The Chairman of the Supreme Election Commission of Turkey, Saadi Guven declared about it. He also emphasized that 97.7 percent of votes were processed, and the remaining ballots will not have an impact on election’s results.
Thus, Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be the first President the new system of Turkey, after the constitutional reform and transition to presidential administration. It should be noted that more than 90 percent of the voters participated in elections.
