DUSHANBE, 04.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior football team of Tajikistan (U-16), composed of pupils of the Football Academy of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, arrived yesterday, July 3 in the capital city of Uzbekistan – Tashkent to attend CAFA championship. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

The delegation of Tajikistan was warmly greeted by representatives of the Central Asian Football Association, the Football Association of Uzbekistan, as well as local fans.

CAFA championship with the participation of junior teams of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan (U-16) will be held on July 5-9 in Tashkent.

We will recall that Tajik juniors will play first match on Thursday, July 5, against their peers from Kyrgyzstan, second match on July 7 against Afghan juniors, and next match on July 9 against juniors of Uzbekistan.

The CAFA championship in Tashkent will be held on a circular system in one round. The winner will be determined by the highest number of scored points. All games will be held on the fields of the Academy of FC “Bunyodkor” in Tashkent.

The matches of this championship will be served by teams of referees from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan will be represented by FIFA referee Sayodjon Zainiddinov (Dushanbe), FIFA assistant referees – Vafo Karaev (Shahrinav) and Hassan Karimov (Norak). The Secretary General of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Davlatmand Islomov was appointed as one of tournament commissars, and the head of the judiciary of Tajikistan Abdurahim Boboev will inspect referees.
