Tajik athlete Komronshoh Ustopiriyon returned to Homeland from 2018 Indonesia Asian Games with two bronze medals
DUSHANBE, 04.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On the night of 3-4 September 2018, a group of Tajik athletes — participants of the 2018 Asian Games returned to Homeland from Indonesia by the route Jakarta-Dubai-Dushanbe. Among them was the holder of Games medals, the well-known Tajik athlete Komronshoh Ustopiriyon.
According to the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, Komronshoh at the 18th Asian Games that was held from August 18 to September 2 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang won two bronze medals on Judo and Sambo in the weight category -90 kg.
He said in an interview that “I had a good readiness for the Games and had the purpose to get a gold medal, but I got bronze medals”.
Komronshoh expressed his gratitude to the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the leadership of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, local executive body of state authority of Sughd province, the Tajik Judo Federation for constant support and creation of favorable conditions, as well as noted that now on he will prepare for participation in the World Judo Championship to be held on September 20-27 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
