Prosecutor General of Tajikistan met with the Director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington
DUSHANBE, 09.11.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation Christopher Wray on November 6 in Washington.
During the meeting issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Prosecutor General’s Office and FBI in the field of fighting against crime, especially organized crime, cross-border terrorism and extremism and the coordination of relevant treaty and legal acts were discussed. At the same time, the United States expressed its gratitude for cooperation in the process of investigation of the terrorist attack, which occurred on July 29, 2018 in Tajikistan.
The Prosecutor General of Tajikistan and FBI Director expressed their willingness to strengthen and develop cooperation between two agencies.
