Tajikistan, UAE agreed to develop cooperation
DUSHANBE, 21.11.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 20, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda, as part of the 87th session of the Interpol General Assembly in Dubai, met with the First Deputy Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates Saif Abdullah Al Shafar.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and other threats of the modern world.
It was noted that only by a joint struggle we can cope with the current threats and challenges of our time and achieve significant results.
We will recall that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda on November 18-21 attended the 87th session of the Interpol General Assembly in Dubai.
“At this meeting, representatives of 163 countries discussed issues related to the challenges and threats of the modern world, such as terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, money laundering, and other relevant issues”, — the source added.
