Youth futsal teams of Tajikistan and Afghanistan will hold friendly matches in Khujand city
DUSHANBE, 26.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The youth futsal team of Tajikista (U-20) will hold two friendly matches against their peers from Afghanistan as part of the final stage of preparation to the Asian Futsal Championship 2019 qualifying tournament.
As the press service of Tajikistan Football Federation reported, the friendly matches between the youth teams of Tajikistan and Afghanistan will be held on Monday and Tuesday, November 26-27. Both matches will be held at the “Qasri Varzish” sports complex in Khujand city at 18:00.
In the Asian Futsal Championship 2019 qualifying tournament to be held on December 1-4 in Tashkent, Tajik youth team will play in Group B with Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The youth team of Afghanistan will play in Group A along with the teams of Iran and Turkmenistan.
According to the tournament regulation, only 3 teams from the Central Zone will advance to the final part of the Asian Futsal Championship 2019.
