DUSHANBE, 28.12.2018 (NIAT Khovar) – Welcome to Dushanbe tourist festival will take place tomorrow in Dushanbe and will last until December 30.

The festival was organized by the Committee for Tourism Development (CTD) with the support of the Mayor’s Office in Dushanbe, reported the Press Center of the CTD.

Representatives of all the country’s regions will take part in the festival.

During the duration of the festival, participants will be able to visit the capital’s historical and cultural attractions, including the Dushanbe International Airport, the Cambridge Academy in Dushanbe, the National Museum of Tajikistan, the Rohat Tea House and the Culture and Recreation Park named after Nizomuddin Alisher Navoi.

A tourist forum will be held within the framework of this festival in order to promote the touristic attractions of Dushanbe.

The festivals Welcome to Khatlon, Welcome to Ancient Sughd, Welcome to Rasht Valley and Hello from the Roof of the World were held this year in other regions of the country.

These events are held to promote the sustainable development of tourism, to focus the public’s attention on the tourism industry, to activate tourist routes, to improve the quality of tourism related services and to develop domestic tourism.
