DUSHANBE, 04.12.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The youth futsal team of Tajikistan (U-20) won a major victory over national team of Uzbekistan (7:2) in the second round of the qualifying tournament of the Asian Futsal Championship 2019 in the Central Zone in group B and kept the chances of reaching the Asian Championship.

As the Football Federation of Tajikistan reports, the goals of our team were scored by Muhammad Rajabov (3), Idris Yorov (2), Faridun Nematov (1) and Khalid Saburov (1).

Following the results of the group qualifying round in group B, three teams at once — Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan — scored three points each.

According to the regulations, to determine the winner of the group it was necessary to count the goals scored. As a result, the first place due to the best goal difference “+2” (9:7) was taken by the national team of Kyrgyzstan. Second place took the national team of Tajikistan (goal difference — 8:8). The national team of Uzbekistan, which has the goal difference “-2” (8:10), finished last in the group.

Thus, today, December 4 in the playoff match, the youth team of Tajikistan will play with the national team of Afghanistan, which took second place in the group A. The match will be held in the Uzbekistan sports complex in Tashkent at 13:00 local time. The winner of this match will receive a berth to the Asian Futsal Youth Championship 2019.

According to the results of the qualifying tournament, the youth teams of Iran (the winner of Group A) and Kyrgyzstan (the best team of Group B) advanced to the final part of the Asian Futsal Championship 2019 from the Central Zone.
