Tajik Athletes Will Take Part in Tel Aviv Judo Grand Prix 2019
DUSHANBE, 23.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) — Tajik athletes will take part in Tel Aviv Judo Grand Prix, which will be held on January 24-26 in Israel.
Over 400 athletes (230 men and 177 women) from 54 countries will take part in the competition. Four athletes, namely Behruz Khojazoda, Khayomiddin Jabborov, Akmal Murodov and Saidjalol Saidov will represent Tajikistan, reported an official of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan Umarali Safarali.
The winners will receive medals and cash prizes. First place winners in all weight categories will recieve $3,000, second place winners $ 2,000 and third place winners will be awarded $ 1,000. Additionally, athletes will receive Olympic points.
Both Akmal Murodov and Saidjalol Saidov occupy the 53rd position in the Olympic rankings. Behruz Khojazoda ranks in the 56th position, while Khayomiddin Jabborov is in the 99th.
