Tajikistan Beat Finland at the Development Cup 2019
DUSHANBE, 25.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The junior football team of Tajikistan (U-17) beat Finland in the final round of the group stage of the international tournament Development Cup 2019, which is taking place in Minsk, Belarus.
The match between the Tajik and Finnish teams ended with a score of 2:0. Islom Zoirov and Rustam Soirov scored goals for Tajikistan, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
In another match, Belarus defeated Belgium with a score of 3:1.
Earlier the match between the Tajik and Belgian teams ended with a score of 1:1
Following the results of the group stage, gaining 6 points Belarus became the winner of the group. With 4 points each Belgium and Tajikistan became second and third place winners respectively. Finland with 3 points took fourth place.
