Tajikistan’s Olympic Team Became Victors of the Doha Four Nations Tournament
DUSHANBE, 22.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Olympic team of Tajikistan (U-23) became the winner of the Four Nations Tournament, which was began on January 15 and ended this Monday in Doha.
Though the Tajik team couldn’t win the final round against the Kuwaiti team, it nevertheless won the tournament.
In the Tajik-Kuwaiti match, the Kuwaiti striker Abdul Mohsen Al-Ajmi scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute, which brought victory to his team, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Having won the previous matches in the tournament, the Tajik team gained six out of nine possible points, becoming the winner of the Doha Four Nations Tournament.
The Iranian team took second place, Qatari team third and Kuwaiti the fourth.
