Tajik Minister of Interior Met With Qatari Ambassador
DUSHANBE, 01.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) — The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Tajikistan Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Abdullah on Wednesday in Dushanbe.
Before proceeding to the discussion, Rahimzoda congratulated the Qatari envoy on his appointment and wished him success, reported the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of the two countries in their fight against organized crime, terrorism, extremism, and illicit drug and arms trafficking.
The two parties also discussed the issues of countering modern challenges and threats and the need to strengthen the technical capacity of governmental stuctures that deal with internal affairs.
