Deputy Interior Minister Met with Interpol’s Director of Global Outreach and Regional Support
DUSHANBE, 27.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ikrom Umarzoda met with Interpol’s Director of Global Outreach and Regional Support Roraima Andriani yesterday in Dushanbe.
The parties exchanged their views on solving and preventing crime, detaining and neutralizing members of terrorist and extremist organizations, exchanging information, apprehending wanted criminals, as well as equipping structures with modern equipment and technology, reported the Press Center of the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
“The cooperation between the National Interpol Center of Tajikistan’s MIA and Interpol’s General Secretariat is being strengthened within the framework of agreements and normative legal documents,” noted Umarzoda.
“The leadership of Interpol’s General Secretariat is ready to fully support and contribute to the detention of members of terrorist organizations and the prevention of crimes in order to expand the scope of activities and achieve new results,” said Andriani.
The parties expressed their confidence that such meetings will play an important role in strengthening further cooperation.
