Minister of Economy of Tajikistan Meets With Head of UNDP Mission
DUSHANBE, 01.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda met with the Mission of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) headed by Pratibha Mehta today in Dushanbe.
The parties discussed the implementation of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period 2016-2020, cooperation in developing the Medium-Term Development Program of Tajikistan for 2021-2025, assistance in preparing concepts of digital economy, introduction of production in vulnerable districts and border areas, as well as the creation of new jobs in the context of the ongoing UNDP project.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop further cooperation.
