Navruz Celebrated in Saudi Arabia
DUSHANBE, 13.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – An international Navruz celebration, organized by the initiative of Navruz-celebrating countries, was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Two famous Tajik singers Kurbonali Rahmonov and Davlat Nazriev with a group of Tajik nationals took part in the event. Their participation was an initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Saudi Arabia. The performance by Tajik artists left a deep impression about the rich and ancient culture of Tajiks, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foriegn Affairs.
This performance serves as an important step toward attracting Saudi fans of music and beautiful art to attend the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled to be held later this year. The event’s aim is to facilitate in the increasing the number of Arab tourists to Tajikistan.
An exhibition of folk crafts products from Tajikistan, which attracted the attention of the audience, was also held.
