Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali Meets with Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Liu Bin
DUSHANBE, 19.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali met with the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Tajikistan Liu Bin.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation between the government of China and the Office of the Chairman of Dushanbe.
“China is a strategic partner of Tajikistan. Today, more than 300 Chinese companies and corporations contribute to Tajikistan’s development,” said Rustam Emomali.
“The contributions of the heads of two states, Emomali Rahmon and Xi Jinping, are very great in the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation,” he noted.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction that Dushanbe has established fraternal relations with the cities of Urumqi, Xiamen, Qingdao and the Hainan Province of China, which is one of the factors for the expansion of bilateral relations.
The meeting, which was held in a constructive atmosphere, also focused on other issues of mutual interest.
