Members of the Renaissance Terrorist Organization and Group 24 Expelled from Turkey
DUSHANBE, 25.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, who paid an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of the Turkish side, on April 22 met with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed a wide range of issues relating to cooperation, including direct and international juridical cooperation between of two countries, noting it as an important factor of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and a favorable basis for further multilateral cooperation.
Şentop emphasized that Tajikistan and Turkey cooperation is at a satisfactory level in the fight against terrorist organizations, and the government of Tajikistan had taken appropriate measures to suppress the activities of Fethullah Gülen’s organizations, also known as Fethullah Terror Organization (FETO).
“Members of the terrorist organizations of the Islamic Renaissance Party, Group 24 and other terrorist organizations were expelled from the territory of Turkey for their involvement in terrorism and extremism,” noted Şentop, once again stressing that the enemies of Tajikistan are also irreconcilable enemies of Turkey and its people.
