Tajik Athletes Won Five Medals at the Junior Asian Judo Cup in Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 16.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes won five medals, including one gold, one silver and three bronze, at the Junior Asian Judo Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Emomrizo Anvarzoda won the gold medal in the 90 kg weight category and Shohid Kalandarova was awarded the silver medal in the 57 kg category. Ahliyo Muminova in the 52 kg category, Muhammadrizo Kuvvatov in the 60 kg and Sharifjon Nazriev in the 100 kg category all recieved bronze medals, reported the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
The Junior Asian Judo Cup was held from April 12 to April 15. Over 245 athletes from Tajikistan, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan took part in the competitions.
