Tajik Specialists Took Part in the Meeting of the Joint Committee on Standards in Dresden
DUSHANBE, 03.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The 17th meeting of the COOMET Joint Model Committee (JMC) was held on April 2 in Dresden, Germany. The First Deputy Director of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection of Tajikistan Tojikstandart Dilovar Pirnazarzoda and the head of the Department for Metrological Assurance of Measurement Uniformity Jurakhon Rahimzoda represented Tajikistan at the meeting.
The event included both open and closed meetings. The open part of the meeting began with the reports of the chairpersons of COOMET’s technical committees.
The main areas of activity of the committees, the implementation of COOMET projects, the COOMET Comparison Program, the possibilities of conducting remote comparisons and their application for standards of national metrology institutes were also discussed. The participants made a recommendation to the chairmen of technical committees to assist in resolving issues of organizing pending or suspended comparisons.
Additionally, the need to amend the existing COOMET recommendations or develop new publications was also reviewed.
