Tajikistan and US Discuss Fight Against Terrorism and Extremism
DUSHANBE, 09.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the US Ambassador to Tajikistan John Mark Pommersheim today in Dushanbe.
The parties discussed the joint fight against terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, among other issues, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
Pommersheim was nominated by President Trump on September 2018 and arrived in Dushanbe earlier this year, on March 10.
